  • Health & Safety Requirements
All personnel, while working in the printing/press areas and the warehouse, shall wear approved “safety
footwear” which meets OSHA Standards. This footwear must have Steel Toe or Composite toe coverings
    with a designation, ANSI A1264.2, ATSMF2412.05, ATSM2413.05, ASTMF1677, or ASTM F2413-18
stamped in the shoe. This shoe safety requirement will also apply to maintenance workers working
anywhere on the property where there may be an injury risk to the toes. Employees who do not work in
the above herein mentioned areas do not have to wear such safety shoes if they are just passing
through the above-mentioned areas unless the Forklifts or Electric pallet jacks are in operation.

Employees will be provided with a yearly subsidy of 50% of their purchase up to $75.00 towards the
direct purchase of protective footwear. Employees must submit a shoe expense report (Original Receipt)
within 5 days of purchase to the OSHA Safety Coordinator along with proof that the footwear meets the
safety requirements mentioned herein (A photo of the designation must accompany the receipt). Please
allow up to 30 days for reimbursement. Eligible employees are entitled for reimbursement or a
subsidized purchase of protective footwear once every 12 months from the last purchase. Purchases for
footwear not meeting the ANSI or ASTM specifications or receipts older than 5 days will not be
reimbursed. Purchases made before 365 days before the last purchase will not be reimbursed.
